How the founding pilot uses your information

Who is responsible

BidMettle is an independent pilot operated by Carl Webster in the United Kingdom. For a privacy request, use the reply address in your pilot invitation or delivery email.

Information we collect

We collect the company name, work email address, services supplied, service area and preferred contract-value range that you submit. We also retain the matching criteria derived from those details and operational records needed to deliver and evaluate the pilot.

Why we use it

We use the information to assess pilot suitability, configure your supplier profile, deliver opportunity briefs, answer service messages, prevent duplicate records and evaluate whether the pilot is useful. We do not use the form to enrol you in unrelated marketing.

Lawful basis

We rely on steps requested by you before providing a service and on our legitimate interests in operating, securing and evaluating a limited business-to-business pilot. We balance those interests against your rights and keep the data limited to what the pilot needs.

Sources and sharing

Profile details come directly from you. Tender information comes from official public procurement sources. Hosting, database and communications providers may process information only to help operate the service. We do not sell pilot-profile information.

Retention

We keep an active pilot profile while delivering the pilot. If you do not join or the pilot ends, we delete or anonymise the profile within 90 days unless a longer period is necessary for a legal obligation, security incident or unresolved request.

Your choices and rights

You may ask for access, correction or deletion, object to processing, or withdraw from the pilot. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office. Some rights depend on the circumstances and lawful basis.

Automated recommendations

BidMettle uses automated rules to rank notices and identify possible blockers. These outputs support human business decisions; they do not determine legal eligibility, guarantee suitability or submit a bid.

Changes

Material changes will be shown here with a new effective date. We will notify active pilots when a change materially affects how their information is used.
